Jamarius Jennings performed this interview Yung Lito, an upcoming Chicago artist who is trying to get his name known more around America. He’s had big hits locally with his former rap group called PBN (Pretty Boy Nation).
JJ: What services do you or your company provide to clients?
YL: I am an upcoming rapper from Chicago the service I provide is high quality music
JJ: How did you get into the business you are in? What do you like most about it?
YL: I started rapping when I was 12 years old and I just got more and more known as time went on and I put out more music. What I like most about the rapping is the potential impact I can have on people’s lives with my words and the stories I tell.
JJ: What are you good at? What do you use your skills?
YL: Rapping *laughs*. And entertainment in general. I would say entertainment as a whole because rapping isn’t the only thing I do well. I can rap, act and sing if I need to as well. I’m an all-around creator
JJ: We are promoting the Midwest music scene on our website, middletownmusic.org. What should we tell our followers about the music & entertainment scene in your city? What is the most exciting part of it for you?
YL: Chicago music is unique. Period. No other music sounds like Chicago music, specifically Chicago rap music. A lot of the most famous rappers in the industry have took a lot of elements from Chicago rap and made it their own. We are a great city for music. The most exciting part of it for me is the originality. I can give you 10 different artists from Chicago and all 10 will sound different.
