Jazz Band
Jazz Band is a small, auditioned, extracurricular performing ensemble available at both Middletown High School and Middletown Middle School. Jazz Band members learn the unique stylistic components of the Jazz genre. This includes improvisation and part independence skills, Blues/Jazz scales, and music theory.

In the Community
Jazz Band is another performing group that can be seen performing out and about in our community as well. Auditions for Jazz Band generally happen after winter break. If you are interested in auditioning, keep your eyes peeled or ask Mr. Leisten (high school) or Mr. McCoy (middle school) for more information.
